Open Enrollment for 2013
The 2013 open enrollment period will begin on September 10th through October 5, 2012. During open enrollment, you can make changes to your benefit plans, add or delete dependents, or re-enroll in the flex spending accounts (HCRA/DCRA). Any changes you make during open enrollment become effective January 1, 2013.
If you do not wish to make any changes to your benefit plans, with the exception of the flexible spending accounts, no action is required.
If you are currently enrolled in a flexible spending account (Health Care or Dependent Care Reimbursement account), and wish to continue your enrollment for calendar year 2013, you must re-enroll in the plan during open enrollment or your participation in the plan will not continue next year. If you are not currently participating in a Flexible Spending Account, and wish to begin for calendar year 2013, you also must enroll during the open enrollment period.
All changes for open enrollment are processed on-line using the eBenefits enrollment system. The only form you will need to complete and submit to Human Resources is the eSignature authorization form: http://www.csueastbay.edu/af/departments/hr/files/pdf/eBenefits%20Self-Service%20Auth%20Form%207-29-10.pdf
Employees who have already completed the eSignature authorization form do not need to complete it again.
To make open enrollment changes, please access the eBenefits portal by logging into MyCSUEB via the STAFF website or go directly to: https://my.csueastbay.edu/psp/pspdb1/EMPLOYEE/EMPL/h/?tab=PAPP_GUEST during September 10, 2012 through October 5, 2012.
