Orientation will run two full days, roughly 7:30am - 5:30pm. Please verify your availability prior to selecting a date for orientation. Once you register for orientation, you will not be able to switch the session date on your own.
While all Freshman orientation sessions are two full days, only students who sign up for the orientation with overnight option, also called the Pioneer Overnight Experience, will have the chance to take part in our exciting evening activities and stay overnight in our Pioneer Dorms. To sign up for the orientation session including the Pioneer Overnight Experience, select the session labeled "Freshman Orientation w/ Overnight Experience" when registering on MyCSUEB. Note that a $65 overnight fee will be automatically charged to your student account to cover the cost of housing and evening activities.
Once you have submitted your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR), you will be able to register for Orientation through MyCSUEB. If you are unable to select an Orientation date, the specific Orientation program has reached capacity and we request that you choose from an available session.
Programs have set capacity, and registration may be closed if a specific program has reached capacity.
Pre-Enrollment Fees for students are non-refundable. For more information on the Pre-Enrollment fee please visit the Office of Admissions' Pre-Enrollment Fee Information Page.
