Pioneer Overnight Experience

If you want to maximize your orientation experience, get a feel of campus life, and have the opportunity to stay overnight in the dorms, join us for our Pioneer Overnight Experience. The action packed evening will be filled with exciting and engaging activities, chances to connect with your fellow incoming classmates and will end with an overnight stay in our Pioneer housing. Join us for this exciting opportunity! 
 
Space is limited.
Pioneer Overnight Experience will run from 5:30 pm until 10:00 pm on the first evening of Freshman orientation.  The program consists of a fun dinner, interactive activities, and will end with an overnight stay in the dorms.viptherawfinaledit-image.png

To sign up for the orientation session including the Pioneer Overnight Experience, select the session labeled "Freshman Orientation w/ Overnight Experience" when registering on MyCSUEB.

The $65 will get charged to your student account, and it covers overnight housing costs, dinner, and activities.

Our program is designed to help you connect with your fellow Pioneers, and is for incoming Freshmen only.  The dorm stay of the Pioneer Overnight Experience is also for students only. 

 

You will need to bring:
personal toiletries (toothbrush, deodorant, etc.)
bed linens (sheets, blanket, pillow, pillow case)
towels (2 bath towels, 1 face towel)
toiletries (soap bar, cup, toilet paper)

Once you check in for orientation, you will also be able to check in to Housing, get your room assignment, and drop off your belongings.

You can leave your belongings in your dorm room and turn in your room key at the end of the orientation program. If you fail to return your key, there will be a $25 charge to your account. 

Unfortunately, no: early check-in and late check-out are not available.  Housing check in will take place at the same time as orientation event check in.  Housing check out will take place as soon as the orientation program ends on the 2nd day.  

All transportation must be arranged with these time frames in mind, including airfare/airport transportation, or rides to/from campus.

No. Roommate pairings are assigned randomly. Students are separated in the apartments by gender identity (male and female).
