Amanda Segura

Amanda Segura

Amanda has been working in education for over 10 years, beginning as a student assistant in the counseling offices at Hartnell College and later at Fresno State where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. She later earned her Master’s degree in Educational Counseling from San Jose State University. Now as the Director of Enrollment Development & Communications, she enjoys working with students of all ages to educate them about the CSU system, CSUEB, and the many benefits of earning a college degree. She recommends students talk with their families about going to college to build positive support at home, research schools early on and visit before making a decision, and establish a connection with their university of choice by reaching out to their local admission representative.

Amanda's favorite place on the Hayward campus is Redwood Grove. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the many hiking trails with her family, and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities that The Bay has to offer!
