You can voice your opinion on the latest
faculty topic of interest using the new Blackboard technology. For those
of you who are familiar with Blackboard, it is on the Organizations &
Clubs Tab.
If you have never used Blackboard, please follow
these steps:
Go to http://bb.csueastbay.edu/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp
Click on Login
Click on Preview (no passwords are necessary)
Click on the Organizations &
Clubs Tab. at the top of the white page
Click on the "Semesters vs. Quarters" icon under Discussion
Boards
You may join in any discussion threads or create
a new one.
You may respond using your name or anonymously.
SPEAK OUT!
Additional tips re: Blackboard:
At the top left of the page that lists all the topics of discussion on Quarters
vs. Semesters, there is a place to click to "Add a new Thread".
This will begin a new topic.
If you want to reply to a current topic, click on
the title, read what the person had to say, and the "reply" icon is at
the end of their message.
The easiest way to read it all is to put a checkmark in the boxes to the left of
the subjects you want to read. Then, at the top of the page, click on "collect". It merges everything onto one page
and eliminates clicking individually on the different entries.
