Students can challenge an outstanding student account balance related to tuition and fees up to (6) six months from the last day of the semester which the petition applies. Balance disputes are only considered for exceptional circumstances as outlined in the Appeal Requirements section below.
Outstanding balance disputes for housing fees or other services received on campus will not be considered.
Student’s are expected to have exhausted all financial aid options (e.g. grants and loans) before submitting an appeal, failure to do so may result in an appeal denial.
Appeals will not be granted for academic reasons (i.e. failing a class, did not like course material, instructor, delivery, etc)
Students are encouraged to submit their appeal forms to the Enrollment Information Center or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All requirements must be met before your appeal will be considered. Before submitting your appeal, carefully review the information below and verify your account balance by logging into the MyCSUEB portal.

Important: The Tuition and Fees appeals are not applicable to housing charges disputes. Any charges/fees associated with housing must be appeal for directly through student housing.
Students may request updates about their appeal by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. The appeals are reviewed within 7 to 10 days of their submission date. The committee may request clarification or additional documentation from the student to finalize an appeal.
