Pioneer Heights on-campus student apartments and suites are spacious, attractive, and fully furnished. The apartments feature single or double bedroom accommodations, a kitchen, living and dining area, and one or two bathrooms. The freshmen suites feature double bedroom accommodations, a kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave oven, a living and dining area, and two bathrooms.
High-speed Internet access is provided, and phone and cable service is available. Computing labs, as well as study, exercise, laundry, and recreation rooms with TV, ping-pong and billiard tables are among the amenities. Convenient meal plans (required for first-time freshmen living in Pioneer Heights; optional for other residential students) are available through the University Union, making it easy to save time and have sharing a meal with friends.

International House (I-House) at Cal State East Bay, located adjacent to campus, offers you the opportunity to live in a dynamic, multicultural residential community with students from around world. The residence hall accommodations at I-House not only offer a unique college living-learning experience but are also a practical and economic student housing option.
I-House rooms accommodate two students, each, with individual beds, desks, drawers, and closets, plus access to a shared bathroom and shower. Rooms are wired for high-speed internet access, cable television, and telephone. I-House also offers residents a number of amenities. These include a computer lab, study areas, a cable TV lounge, and laundry, as well as a fitness center and recreation room with pool, ping-pong, foosball, and air hockey tables.
