Centrally located, the California State University, East Bay campus sits on a hilltop overlooking the beautiful San Francisco Bay area. A thirty minute drive from the Oakland, San Francisco, and San Jose international airports, CSUEB is accessible from all major Bay Area freeways. Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) service is available to the Hayward BART Station with a short ride by bus or shuttle to campus. We offer affordable accommodations and a professional, service-oriented staff committed to making your stay a pleasure and your conference a success. 

Pioneer Heights consists of ten apartment-style buildings and can accommodate approximately 1,300 conference guests during the summer. Within the community, we have a dining hall; laundry facilities; meeting space; complimentary Internet access; a recreation room with pool table, table tennis, air hockey and flat screen television; vending machines throughout the area and ample parking.
