Eligibility for Counseling Services
All currently registered students of CSU East Bay are eligible for counseling services at Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS). For couples counseling, only one member of the couple must be a currently registered student.
Students are also eligible for services during quarters when they are not currently registered if they plan to register the following quarter. These students must pay the student health fee to be eligible for services. This charge would be $75.00.
Students may also receive services for one quarter after graduation by paying the student health fee. Graduation transitional fees are $85.00. The fee can be paid at SHCS front desk.
We do not serve faculty or staff at our counseling center. If you are a staff or faculty member and need personal/psychological counseling, please contact Human Resources for more information about the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
