Transfer Academy July 29 - August 2 , 2019

The Transfer Academy is an opportunity for incoming transfer students at Cal State East Bay to learn more about the transition to the University in a supportive cohort environment prior to the first fall semester. Students commit to five days at the Hayward Campus to become familiar with available resources, and develop a deeper knowledge to assist them in their transition.

What to expect at the Transfer Academy

Thanks to our generous financial sponsors, there is no cost for your participation in this program.

Participants must attend all components of the program. You will not receive the full benefits of the program unless you are fully engaged. Therefore, partial participation is not allowed. Students who are selected are required to make a full commitment to the program for all five days.

Please note, this experience does not take the place of Transfer Orientation. All Transfer students are required to participate in Orientation.

Please be advised that the university does not provide personal attendants or wheel chairs. It is the sole responsibility of campus guests to arrange these logistics for attending Transfer Academy.

Parking on campus is free to attendees, and public transportation is available at a minimal cost. Students from outside the area must arrange for their own overnite accommodations.
