Additional Charges & Information
                         
  • If any activity is scheduled outside normal facility operating hours, all groups will be charged an additional fee of $100.00 per hour. Custodial and Personnel charges will also apply. All evening events occurring outside normal operating hours cannot extend past 10:00 PM
  • When permission is granted, an additional charge of $50 will be assessed for facility renters who do not use University Union food service for their catering needs.
  • The above rates apply only to room/facility use in four (4) hour increments, and do not reflect any extra services. There will be additional charges assessed for the use of multimedia and other equipment.
  • The use of an outside vendor, performer, etc. will require a certificate of insurance before the event may occur. Please contact the reservations office (510) 885-7245 for details.
  • Off-campus groups must submit at deposit of 50% of their room rental fee when confirming their reservation. If this is not submitted prior to the event, the event will be cancelled.
  • Additional charges may apply for cancellations or changes received fewer than 2 working days (48 hours) prior to the event.

  • All equipment rentals must accompany a University Union room rental.
  • Equipment rental dependent on availability. Equipment is limited and is rented on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Additional charges may apply for cancellations or changes received fewer than 2 working days (48 hours) prior to the event.
  • The responsible person will be charged either a repair or a replacement fee if any of the rented equipment is returned damaged or broken.
