Scholarships

Your college education is one of the most important investments and financial decisions you will make. There are many organizations on the campus, in the local community, and nationally that want to support you achieve your educational goals.

Visit scholarships to learn more about scholarships offered through CSUEB and the local community.

Tips to Remember:

Every scholarship is different. Approach each scholarship application and/or interview accordingly. The more you know about the organization, the better chance you have of winning the scholarship. Many scholarships go unfunded due to a lack of students applying, so please apply by the stated deadlines!

When applying for scholarships, it is important to keep several things in mind:

  • Know who created the scholarship and why
  • Find out information about the organization and services provided
  • Know something about the organization's history
  • Know past recipients and their accomplishments
  • Know who is on the selection committee for the scholarship
  • Prepare for the interview
  • Brush up on current events
