Strategic PlanningThe university's strategic planning process is intended to lead to greater organizational effectiveness, better use of scarce resources, and achievement of university goals and objectives. Through the use of evidence to inform decisions and assessment to evaluate the results of actions, Cal State East Bay will be able to guide its future with confidence. The current strategic planning process begun in 2005 involved the university community in a highly participative process to develop a new list of University Goals and Objectives which were adopted in May 2006. In October 2006, the new University President initiated a series of 21 Town Hall meetings across the entire university which shaped the seven mandates in the university’s Framework for the Future. More specific academic, physical and divisional planning is currently underway to implement the University’s mission and values.
