A message from President Sandeen regarding CSU Trustees' acceptance of Chancellor Castro's resignation
Dear Cal State East Bay community,
I am extremely grateful that the CSU Board of Trustees has taken a strong and decisive stand against gender-based harassment, misconduct and retaliation through their action yesterday. As a woman president, a first-generation college grad, and a double CSU alum, I thank them for restoring my faith in our system. We have more work to do to ensure that Cal State campuses are free from gender-based harassment and abuse. The Board’s action yesterday is a step in the right direction.
With warm regards,
Cathy Sandeen
