Applicants interested in coming to Cal State East Bay must accept the Admission Offer and pay a $110 pre-enrollment fee by the published deadline. This fee is later applied to the costs for participating in a mandatory orientation program required of all entering first-time freshmen and transfer students.
Students unable to pay the pre-enrollment fee by the deadline due to high financial need may request fee deferments if their FAFSA or California Dream Act application results have been received by Cal State East Bay. Requests to defer the pre-enrollment fee must be made in writing and include the student’s first and last name, NetID, entering semester, and emailed to: PreEnrollmentFee@csueastbay.edu.
Cal State East Bay will notify students by email once their FAFSA results have been received. Only then will we be able to consider such requests for fee payment deferments.
