Now that you’ve been admitted to Cal State East Bay (congratulations and welcome!), we want to help you find your place on campus. With Welcome Day, summer orientations, classes and a residence hall just for transfers, we make it easy to fit in.
Log into your MyCSUEB to-do list, which includes things like confirming your enrollment by May 1 and submitting your final transcript by July 15, and complete everything on the list. Log in using your NetID (included in your acceptance letter in your welcome packet). Also, set up and check your Horizon email account for important updates.
Be sure to submit your financial aid application by March 2. The earlier you file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Act Application, the more options for aid you will have. If you miss the March 2 priority deadline, you can still apply. We will start sending out financial aid award letters in March. Contact the Financial Aid office at firstname.lastname@example.org or (510) 885-2784 (Mon-Thurs, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Fridays, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.).
At orientation, students will meet with their major advisors and receive information about graduation requirements. Refer to your major department website and/or the CSUEB catalog for a list of required courses, as well as the Guide for New Transfer Students for information about general education.
This summer, meet the students, faculty and staff that set Cal State East Bay apart at one of our on-campus Transfer Orientations: On the Hayward Campus: May 29, May 31, June 12, June 14, or August 8. For students attending the Concord Campus Orientation is June 18. Transfer students may also use the Online Transfer Orientation, open Nov. 2, 2018 - June 30, 2019. Check to make sure the Orientation you choose is for your declared major. Orientation registration is open April 2 - May 31, 2019.
Submit your final college transcripts with spring semester grades and graduation confirmation by July 15.
