Renew Your Club/Organization's Recognition

Renewing your club/organization's recognition is an easy four-step process that can be mostly completed online. Completing this process will ensure that your club/organization will have all rights and privileges, including reserving space on campus, access to ASI Funding, etc. Follow the instructions below.

  1. Complete the Club/Org Registration Form in BaySync
Login to BaySync with your Net ID and password and go to your organization's portal. Once there, click on "Manage Organization". On the following page, click on the button that says "Re-Register this Organization" to start the form. You must have all of the necessary information ready to enter in order to submit the form. This includes; all officer names, position, Net ID, emails and phone numbers. You must also have your On-Campus Advisor's full name and email address. Your club/organization's recognition request will be reviewed for the upcoming year.
  2. Complete the Recognition & Renewal Officer Training Forms
Once you submit the Club/Organization Registration Form, you will need to notify each of your officers that they will need to complete their Recognition & Renewal Officer Training Form. A minimum of five individual submissions, one by each officer, must be fully completed. The form will be tied to each officer's BaySync account, so it is crucial that horizon email addresses are entered accurately in the club/organization profile update. Our recommendation is to allocate at least one hour to complete this online training.
  3. On-Campus Advisor Completes Form
Every club/organization must have a CSUEB staff or faculty member that serves as the On-Campus Advisor. The On-Campus Advisor must also complete and submit their form to accept the responsibility of guiding your organization. The officer completing the registration form will need to email the On-Campus Advisor to request they complete the On-Campus Advisor form in BaySync.
  4. Attend the Fall Leadership Conference and Spring Leadership Summit
Attendance at the Fall Leadership Conference is required for all officers. We highly encourage ALL of your club/organization members to attend these important leadership opportunities as well.
