Student Life and Leadership Programs is implementing a new program in the fall to help our student organizations be more connected to campus and learn more about how they can run their organizations. We will market to our student organizations meetings, events, and programs they can attend to meet our learning outcomes below:

  • Create more engagement and support between student organizations, departments, programs, events and committees.
  • Create more transparency across campus
  • Learn different skills to run their organizations (for example attending an ASI board meeting will help them learn how to run a meeting)


*For example student organizations will attend an ASI board meeting which could help them learn how to run a meeting, be present to hear ASI updates and ask questions. All of which meet the learning outcomes.

Get Connected to Service Fair | September 1 and 3

Are you a student organization looking for community service opportunities? Come learn more during the Get Connected to Service Fair event. This event is hosted by the Center for Community Engagement. Learn more and RSVP at HTTPS://TINYURL.COM/G2CSFALL.

We would like to invite you to participate if you feel that the program, event, meeting, etc. would be helpful to our student organizations.

Requirements
  • Complete the form at least 2 weeks prior to the event, meeting, etc. (the earlier the better!)
  • Be able to explain how it meets the learning outcomes
  • Be able to provide dates and times (if multiple times and dates write that in the additional notes section)
  • Be able to participate in a 10-15 min debrief to answer any questions
  • Provide zoom information

RAW/ASI Trivia Night | Tuesday, August 25 @ 5pm
Participate in a virtual trivia night and learn more about how you can apply this kind of virtual programming to your club/organization this academic year! Stay for a question and answer period after the event.
ASI Board of Directors Meeting | August 26, 12pm 
Learn more about ASI, contribute your voice and see how they run meetings! Stay for a question and answer period after the event.
