Honors Convocation
Candidates for the baccalaureate degree may be eligible for the awarding of Latin Honors (cum laude, magna cum laude, summa cum laude) at the time of graduation if they have fulfilled the following conditions:
- The must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.65 of higher in all coursework and in coursework completed at Cal State East Bay.
- They must have completed at least 40 semester-units of coursework in residence (as defined in the University Catalog) at Cal State East Bay.
To qualify to attend the Honors Convocation ceremony, you must meet all of the above criteria assessed at the end of the Fall 2022 term.
Honors Convocation is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, 2023. All eligible graduates will receive a separate invitation along with registration instructions.
