Classes of 2020 and 2021 Ceremony
Ceremony Information
The university is hosting a special commencement ceremony for the classes of 2020 and 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the university was not able to host an in-person ceremony on the Hayward campus to honor the graduates from 2020. The university invites you and your guests to attend this special in-person ceremony.

GradFest
GradFest is a celebration of your accomplishments and serves as a one-stop opportunity for commencement information, cap and gown, graduate paraphernalia, and much more as you prepare for your commencement ceremony. GradFest is scheduled for:
If graduates are not able to attend GradFest, they will still be able to purchase their class ring, announcements, and access to tickets online; pick-up their parking permits at Parking and Transportation; and get their cap and gown directly from the bookstore.
Regalia (Cap and gown)
Graduates can pre-order caps and gowns from the HerffJones website until March 11. After March 11th, graduates can purchase regalia at GradFest, and then directly from the bookstore. Package pricing is available on during the pre-order time frame and at GradFest.

Many of you contributed to the Class of 2020 campaign already, if you missed the chance to contribute, now is your opportunity to celebrate and support Cal State East Bay and recognize the positive experiences that shaped and directed your education. This campaign will support students directly through student research and scholarships.
Every gift is important. Your gift of $20.20 or more will ensure that future Cal State East Bay students will continue to receive the excellent educational opportunities that have been changing lives for the past 65 years.
Over the past four years, each class campaign had graduates contributing over $25,000 to establish their Class Endowed Scholarship fund.
To complete the Class of 2020 Gives campaign, the Cal State East Bay Alumni Association and Associated Students, Inc., has agreed to match each graduate's gift (up to $10,000). So double your impact now!
