Computer Lab

The Department of Communication sponsors the Communication Laboratory, providing communication-related support services to students across the campus community. In addition to more general help, students enrolled in Public Speaking or Interpersonal Communication General Education courses can drop in for assistance and support with their assignments.

The COMM Lab is located at 3021 Miekeljohn Hall.

Under faculty supervision, the COMM Lab is staffed by graduate students and select upper-division Communication majors, who serve as tutors to help students research, organize, outline, and deliver oral presentations. The COMM Lab also offers campus internship programs for credit. Every year our tutors' outstanding work is recognized with several awards.

Students gain valuable teaching experience and to serve other students through their work as tutors. For more information and to apply for a position in the Comm Lab, please contact the director of the lab directly, and/or the Dept. of Communication Chair.
