Saturdays of Service is a monthly initiative that provides community service opportunities for Cal State East Bay students. Students have the opportunity to make a direct impact in the Hayward and surrounding communities in collaboration with community partners. Students who participate in a Saturday of Service have the opportunity to receive an I Serve East Bay t-shirt.

Starting in 2015, the Center for Community Engagement instituted Make a Difference Week (MADW), an extension of national Make a Difference Day, the largest single day of volunteering in the country. MADW provides our campus community with the opportunity to explore how we, as individuals and as a campus, can contribute to the public good. MADW features several events on campus and culminates in the day of service.

Get Connected to Service Fairs are an opportunity for Cal State East Bay CCE's partners to table on campus and outreach with students and faculty.
Community partners from through out the Bay Area attend these and make connections for service learning and volunteer placements.
These fairs occur twice a year, early in each semesters when students are looking for placement sites.
