Student Center for Academic Achievement (SCAA) provides FREE tutoring for science, math, writing, statistics and other student learning services and programs.
The Math Lab is designed to support students in the entry-level math and statistics courses: MATH 110, MATH 115, MATH 118, MATH 120, MATH 125, STAT 100, STAT 101, and STAT 110.

Pioneeds for H.O.P.E: (Helping Our Pioneers Excel) California State University, East Bay's new intervention program will address the Chancellor's food and housing security initiatives to include wide-ranging efforts to immediately serve some of our most-at risk students facing homelessness, food insecurity, and other various crisis situations.
Accessibility Services provides academic accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities.
Student Health & Counseling Services (SHCS) assists CSUEB students in achieving their academic and career goals by maintaining optimal health. SHCS is a fully accredited outpatient clinic staffed by Board Certified Physicians, and licensed Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Counselors. SHCS offers basic medical care for most illnesses and injuries and various elective services. In addition, SHCS offers individual, couples, and group counseling.
Groups running Fall 2021
Due to Covid-19, most groups for Fall 2021 will be run over Zoom. Students may participate via video, or with audio only. Only Self-Care Moment will be in person.
To register for any group, students can go to https://health.csueastbay.edu, call (510) 885-3735, email email@example.com, or talk with a counselor.
To participate in a group session, students who have registered can log into the https://health.csueastbay.edu portal. The Zoom link for the meeting will be available under "Appointments" at the scheduled time.

Coping Skills, Mondays @12 pm
An ongoing, interactive workshop for students to create and maintain healthy changes in their lives.
Anxiety Tool Box, Tuesdays @12 pm
An ongoing workshop teaching and practicing skills to manage anxiety.
Self-Care Moment, Wednesdays @ 12 pm
Take a break to practice simple and effective activities that improve mental health, such as art and journaling. No experience necessary. This group will be offered in person in the RAW courtyard, unless weather does not permit. Check Instagram for updates - @eastbayshcs.
Getting Unstuck, Thursdays @ 12 pm
An ongoing seminar to help students learn skills to manage depression.
Queer and Questioning Support Group, Thursdays @ 12 pm
This affirmative and interactive space is inclusive for all folx on the sexuality and gender spectrum, as well as those who may not yet feel comfortable claiming an LGBTQ+ identity but would like support around sexuality and gender. Potential topics include navigating family, managing misgendering and microaggressions, self-advocacy as self-care, healthy dating, and exploring intersectionality.
Healthy Relationships, Thursdays @ 2 pm
Explore ways to build healthier relationships. Topics include power and control, consent, communication, dating, friendship, and communicating boundaries.
Counselors are available to run workshops on self-care for interested classes or student groups. These workshops are particularly useful for those in caretaking professions, or involved in activism. Email and Online Resources:
Blackboard: Provides both a student portal and a course management system at Cal State East Bay.
Horizon E-mail: This student e-mail account is where important University communication will be sent about your academic status, classes, fees, financial aid, and more.
MyCSUEB: Provides access to academics, financial aid, holds, and personal information. There you can also add or drop courses, find enrollment dates, and view class schedule.
