Coaching Coaches to Reduce and Prevent Sexually Violent Language in Coaching

Dr. Donna Duffy gave a research presentation to 100 people in attendance and then led a workshop for 30 current/future high school coaches. The workshop focused on coaching language patterns and employing appropriate language skills to properly communicate with and motivate athletes.

Donna Duffy, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the Department of Kinesiology. She is also Program Director for the Advancement of Girls and Women in Sport and Physical Activity.
