Safe Zone

Now Entering a Safe Zone

In an ongoing effort to maintain a safe space for all, the Diversity & Inclusion Student Center (DISC) staff members facilitate and participate in allyship workshops. In the Fall of 2016 all DISC staff members completed the UndocuAlly training. The UndocuAlly training program is designed to give allies the tools and knowledge to support undocumented and DACA students on campus.

The DISC is also the home of the CSUEB Safe Zone Ally program.  The Safe Zone Ally training is a DISC program designed to improve our campus climate towards the LGBTQ+ one ally at a time. Everyone who completes this 3 hour training will earn our rainbow Pioneer Pete sticker. The sticker shows that you are a Safe Zone and ally for all LGBTQ+ community members.
