Scholarships
The department offers several merit scholarships to students once they are in the program. Need-based financial aid is administered by the university.
Distinguished Graduate Scholar in Economics
- $2,500
- Awarded to the two master's students with the highest GPAs in the core microeconomics and econometrics sequences
- Consideration is automatic
Joseph Fuhrig Private Enterprise Graduate Scholarship
- $1,000
- Awarded annually to at least one master's student with a GPA over 3.5
- Preference given to those with an interest in classical liberalism
- Apply via Pioneer Scholarships
Economics Department Scholarship
- $500
- Awarded annually to selected bachelor's and master's students with a GPA over 3.5
- Apply via Pioneer Scholarships
