Software Purchases for Employee Personal Use

To simplify the process of obtaining software allowed for home/personal use, CSU East Bay has partnered with Kivuto Inc. and Microsoft to provide licensed software to currently employed faculty and staff. This will improve the process of getting digital goods into the hands of individuals and reducing the total cost of distribution and license compliance.

Kivuto Features:

Kivuto will provide a product key and instructions to download the software for the time period indicated. License renewal is necessary in order to use the software after the expiration date. Software ordered through Kivuto can be downloaded one time or made available on backup DVD for an additional charge plus shipping/handling. To be directed to the Kivuto site.

Keep product key number (print screen capture or write down the number when the purchase is made), in case a reinstall is necessary in the future.

To check their eligibility of the ProPlus benefit, faculty and staff can go to Office 365 and enter a university-provided email address. Once validated, staff and faculty can create an Office 365 account and get access to Office 365 ProPlus, OneDrive for business, SharePoint Online, Office Online.
