SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT 2019-20 FACULTY SUPPORT GRANTS
We are pleased to inform you that we’ve been able to work with Academic Affairs to extend the project end date for the 2019-20 FSG awards from June 30, 2020 to December 18, 2020.
We will not be able to increase your FSG budget but we are happy to consider budget revisions. Please send your request for a budget revision to email@example.com, with a CC to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will need to submit two documents: a revised budget using this template and a budget narrative explaining the costs and reason for revision.
We understand that the shelter at home order is impacting most research and scholarship activities. Please note that research on campus, at other facilities, or in the field should be suspended since travel restrictions are in place with this order. Research and scholarship activities that can be done at home may continue.
ABOUT FACULTY SUPPORT GRANTS
The Faculty Support Grants (FSG) are funded by funds from the Office of the Chancellor and the Cal State East Bay Division of Academic Affairs. They are intended as “seed grants” to promote the development of new or expanded research, scholarship, and creative activities (RSCA) by faculty. Successful proposals will identify one or more specific products that will result from the project such as a publication in a peer-reviewed journal, submission of a grant proposal to an external sponsor, a public performance and/or juried competition.
Requests for proposals are usually released each semester on InfoReady; please check for current opportunities. Proposal documents including the Request for Proposals, the proposal template, budget template and review rubric are available on InfoReady.
