Planning Healthy Meals 

We invite you to the Planning Healthy Meals workshop where you can learn the benefits of planning healthy including how it can help you save time and money. We will discuss the basics of planning healthy meals using the MyPlate guidelines. 

We will have one workshop on Wednesday, November 3rd @ 1:00-1:30pm:

Re-Think Your Drink

We invite you to come join us at Re-Think Your Drink! This workshop is designed to help you understand how to choose healthier options when it comes to the drinks we consume. We will discuss how to utilize nutrition labels, choosing appropriate poritons, and identifying beverages to drink more often and less often to promote better health. 

To get the most out of the program, we recommend that students come prepared with the following items: a notebook, pen or pencil, a snack & water, and a beverage with a nutrition label if possible. This workshop will be held on Tuesday, November 9th @ 6:30-7:00pm, feel free to register with this zoom link below:

Shopping on a Budget

In this session, participants will learn ways to save money when purchasing food. We will provide tips to help students before going to the sotre, at the store, and when at home. There will be practice using grocery store circulars to identify sale items, coupons, and other ways to save money on healthy foods. This is a workshop designed to help you learn how to shop right when your money is tight and will be offered on Wednesday, November 10th @ 3-4 pm feel free to register with the zoom link below:


Prize Boxes

We want to continue to support our Pioneers in Eating Healthier Options so we will still be sending prize boxes to CSUEB students who participate in any of these workshops! CSUEB student participants who attend at least one nutritional workshop can receive our Nutritional Prize Box. 

In order to be eligible to receive a prize box, you must be a currently enrolled Cal State East Bay student & provide a complete mailing address. Due to budget constraints, we are only limited to mailing items to addresses in the United States. While supplies last.
