The primary goal of the Freeman-ASIA Award Program is to increase the number of American undergraduate students who study in East and Southeast Asia. Awards are in the amounts of $5,000 for one semester and $7,000 for one academic year.
This scholarship is administered by DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). The award is for a semester or academic year of study and includes a monthly stipend of €615 and lump sum to defray travel expenses.
