International House at Tamalpais Hall, CSU East Bay is dedicated to global learning and living. Come join us in our dynamic and diverse community to live, learn and to support one another in attaining your academic and personal goals.
Our mission is to create and support lifelong international friendships, share our diverse cultures and create a friendlier world for each other to live in. We believe education does not begin and end in class, so we provide a safe and supportive home away from home environment with an abundance of activities for fun and for learning.
International House is a four story residence hall located on campus in Tamalpais Hall. Our office is situated on the ground floor of Tamalpais building in suite 615.
Our apartment suites are fully furnished with a kitchenette that includes cabinets, dining table and chairs, a full sized refrigerator and a microwave. Our living room is fully furnished with two sofas, two arm chairs, one coffee table, one side table and one floor lamp. Each bedroom (double occupancy) contains two beds, chairs, dressers, desks and closet spaces for all personal belongings. Each apartment has two common storage spaces, two toilets, two double vanity sinks, along with one bath and one shower room. Within each bedroom, Internet connection is available either via lan cable or wireless, and internet access is provided free of charge through our university network. Telephone and cable services are available in each bedroom at the resident’s expense.
Outside the apartment, we have study lounges on each floor that are available for group meetings, activities or study. For relaxation, we also offer wide screen televisions in the common lounge area on the second and third floors. The fourth floor is reserved as a 24-hour quiet area for those who prefer quietness. The facility also has a separate fitness center and recreation areas with ping pong, billiard tables and an outside basketball court. Other amenities available for your convenience are a personal mailbox, laundry facilities and a Dining Commons with made-to-order international cuisines and a late night café that stays open till 12:00am, beginning in fall 08.

$100 Security Deposit (refundable after checkout pending room condition)
Room and board for fall quarter 2008 is $3,238 for matriculated CSUEB students.
