Hear their insight and be inspired by our featured panelists who have demonstrated success navigating the patriarchy and transforming the political landscape. Alumni/Student Mixer

5:30 p.m. | New University Union, Hayward Campus | Join us for our spring alumni/student reception. This event is focused on graduating students and new alumni. Alumni will network with students and answer any questions they have about life after graduation.

  • Alumnus Gene Luen Yang (MS ’03, Education) was the recipient of a prestigious MacArthur Foundation “Genius Grant” in 2016.

  • Notable alumni include MLB Hall of Famer Joe Morgan, California Wellness Foundation President and CEO Judy Belk, Tony-winning actor James Iglehart and CSU Chancellor Timothy P. White.

  • Cal State East Bay was noted for its exceptionally diverse student body, ranking as the most diverse four-year public college on the U.S. mainland by the Chronicle of Higher Education.

  • The Wall Street Journal recognizes CSUEB as a Top 10 college in the west for diversity.

  • Cal State East Bay was noted for its exceptionally diverse student body, ranking as one of the most diverse four-year public college on the U.S. mainland by the Chronicle of Higher Education.

  • Sixty-one percent of Cal State East Bay students are the first in their family to go to college.
