The College of Business & Economics (CBE) Office of Undergraduate Advising provides services that support and promote student success. We assist students from application to graduation, support their academic growth, and engage them as lifetime members of the college learning community. Our office provides services and programs that support students’ smooth transition into college, their transformation into owners of their academic careers, and promotes professional development. 

WINTER 2018 REGISTRATION 

Registration for Winter 2018 (January 2nd - March 11th) is here! Before you register, make sure to review your Degree Audit Report and Individualized Advisement Plan on MyCSUEB, obtain the necessary advising (major and GE), and review the class schedule. If you plan to enroll in any of courses listed below, remember that prerequisites are strictly enforced. 

  • ACCT 3211, ACCT 3212 or ACCT 3213 Intermediate Financial Accounting Series
  • ECON 3551 Managerial Economics & Business Strategy 
  • MGMT 4650 Seminar in Strategic Business Management (Capstone)
  • MKTG 3495 Business Communication

If you have satisfied or will complete the prerequisites by Fall 2017, submit the Undergraduate Permission Number Request Form online to get your permission number.

UPCOMING EVENTS

New Transfer Student Group Advising

Students will receive individualized major advising in a small group advising session.  Each small group advising session consists of 15 or less students. Academic advisors from the CBE Office of Undergraduate Advising will be available to provide:

  • An academic overview of the major and options (concentrations) requirements
  • Review of student resources (degree audit reports, annual class schedules, etc.)
  • Review your winter schedule
  • Referrals to other campus services/departments
