Now is the Time to Study Abroad!
You are about to embark on one of the most enriching and memorable experiences in your university career. The benefits of study abroad go well beyond academic enrichment. The experience will lead to personal growth and acquiring valuable skills, such as language fluency and cross-cultural understanding, for your career. Many students go overseas to learn about another country, culture, and people. At the same time, you may be surprised that you will be learning equally as much about yourself, your country, and your culture. Few return unchanged.
The study abroad opportunities offered through California State University, East Bay allow Cal State East Bay students to go overseas for one semester or an academic year and gain academic credit towards their degree at an affordable price. Students can study a variety of majors in a number of different countries. For example, you can study Multiculturalism in Denmark, International Business in Korea, History in Spain, or Biochemistry in Sweden, just to name a few possibilities.
Students can and should also attend one of the many information sessions held throughout the year.
For more information, please call the Center for International Education at 510-885-2880 or visit us at SF 102.
Note: It is advised that you review the information on study abroad provided on this website or attend an information session prior to making an appointment. This will save you a lot of time in advance and probably answer any initial questions you have about study abroad.
