Auditor- Appraiser I

County of Santa Clara

The Auditor Appraiser I position in the Assessor's Office is the entry level in the Auditor Appraise series. While learning policies, procedures, laws, and appraisal practices, work assignments generally include performing field checks, processing personal property statements, and annually auditing uncomplicated businesses. During the training period, the Auditor Appraiser I recieves fewer audits and are more involved in procesing the annual roll. The Auditor Appraiser I may be required to assist in resolving asessment appeals.

Financial Analyst

The financial analyst will work closely with an EPA team of grant project officers, engineers, managers, EPA headquarters contacts, and others to administer the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF), the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) programs, and other water infrastructure programs. The financial analyst will also work with government recipients, bond counsels, underwriters and financial institutions to provide grants to states, tribes, and Pacific Island Territories.  From these SRF’s, the states may issue loans and other types of financial assistance to municipalities to construct publicly owned treatment works (POTWs), drinking water treatment systems, or other facilities.
