Domestic undergraduate students
*Note: The Future Pioneers Portal currently does not support graduate, second bachelor admits, international students and students who are going through our self-support programs.
Create your Future Pioneers Portal Log In if you have not already done so. With this account, you can helpful and actionable information in a straightforward and user-friendly manner:
- Find in-depth information about your chosen major and the exciting opportunities it offers.
- Familiarize yourself with our free and hands-on academic support resources.
- Find an inside look at vibrant Pioneer life from current students.
- Learn more about financial aid resources and making paying for college attainable.
- Identify your outreach counselor, whose focus is guiding you through the remainder of the admission process.
- Check your to-do list to verify both the steps you have done and steps you still need to complete in the admission process.

MyCSUEB Portal:
All admitted students must create a MyCSUEB account if they have not already done so. With this account, you can:
- Check your to-do list to verify both the items you have done and the items that you still need to complete in the admission process.
- Accept the offer of admission to join our proud Pioneer family!
- Make any payments.
- If you are a transfer, second bachelor’s, or graduate student, check your preliminary Degree Audit (DAR) report to help identify what courses you need to take when setting up an academic plan with your advisor. Complete DAR reports will be finished no later than the end of your first semester of attendance.
- Sign up for your exciting new classes!

Accept Offer of Admission
Congratulations on your admission!
To secure a place in the entering class, admitted applicants must complete the Accept Admission Offer process by the required deadline.
Step 1: Log in to your MyCSUEB account, choose the “Admissions Tile” tile and select "Accept Admission" from the list. You will be prompted to pay the $110 required non-refundable pre-enrollment fee that will be applied toward orientation. Once the payment is processed, Your admissions status will automatically be updated.
- Second baccalaureate, returning, and graduate students are not required to pay this fee.
Step 2: Follow the instructions on how to make the payment on the CashNet window. A receipt will be e-mailed to you once the transaction is completed. If you press cancel, the acceptance of admission will not be finalized.
After your payment has been received, you have officially accepted your offer of admission and are on your way to becoming a Pioneer!
Once the above steps have been completed, sign up for the mandatory orientation as soon as dates are available. Click here for information about Orientation dates and registration.

FAQs
(Q) I can’t accept my admission offer
(A) 1) Choose Classic View on your browser when you log into www.csueastbay.edu/mycsueb. Classic view is the most compatible mode and has the best chance of success. 2) If selecting Classic View doesn’t work, try using a different browser 3) Lastly, use this link if the above two options failed to allow you to pay your pre-enrollment fee https://wapps1.csueastbay.edu/web-payment
(Q) I paid but my status is not reflected and I can’t accept the admission offer
(A) It typically takes about 10 minutes for the credit card charge to go through during weekday business hours. The process doesn’t run on the weekend but rest assured that if the fee is paid, we’ll accept the admission offer on your behalf the following business day.
(Q) I paid multiple times. How can I get a refund?
(A) Our Student Financials Office is usually really good about not charging students multiple times. If you find out you were charged more than once, email them at studentfinance@csueastbay.edu and they can help reverse the charge.
Download the CSUEB Mobile App
To make an easy registration and secure payment, you can use our CSUEB Mobile App. It is available for download immediately from Google Play and the Apple Store. No action is required if you have already downloaded the CSUEB Mobile App as the new Register and Pay Now functionality will automatically be available on your mobile device. You can also view the CSUEB Mobile App by using our mobile website, m.csueastbay.edu, on the browser supported by your device.

Prepare to Register for Class
After your successful admission, you could start preparing for class registration. We understand that navigating your academic plan is not an easy task. Therefore, we provide degree roadmaps for you as a general guide.
Frosh and Lower Division Transfer Students
For frosh and lower division transfer students, you should reach out to f23frosh@csueastbay.edu to get in touch with your advisor, who will help you determine the right courses for you and help you register.
Upper Division Transfer Students
If you are an upper division transfer student, you should enroll in the fifth semester courses from your degree program roadmap. You could also learn how to register for classes with our detailed instructions.
If you have questions about registration or you need guidance for your academic plan, you could speak to the academic advisors at your college for assistance. If you don’t know who to contact, email whoismyadvisor@csueastbay.edu and they will refer you to the right person.
Join the New Student Orientation
Cal State East Bay has orientation programs to help our incoming students have a smooth transition to their college life. The new student orientation provides a great opportunity for you to meet your future classmates and get to know more about our campus culture. You and your family can benefit from the orientation by getting familiar with campus resources, student organizations, academics, and career services.
Orientation is required for freshmen and transfer students. Please sign up on MyCSUEB.
