Is housing still available at this late day?
Student Housing continues to collect applications and contracts for those students looking to live on campus. Given that we only have so many spaces dedicated for first-time freshmen and transfer students those that apply/contract will be placed on the waiting list should space not be available. During the Spring and Summer months, students cancel their Housing application/contract which allows the waitlisted student the opportunity to take those spaces. Our online housing application is live and available for the 2020-2021 academic year. Make sure to apply as soon as you accept your admissions. Contact Student Housing and Residence Life at (510) 885-7444 or email@example.com.
How will I pay for college?
Students are encouraged to apply for financial aid early, as many awards are available on a first-come - first-served basis. Remember to include your full name and other personal information (for example, your social security number) on your admissions application to ensure we can match your financial aid application to you.
If you already submitted a 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Application, you will need to: (a) log into your application, (b) add the school code (001138) for Cal State East Bay, (c) submit your application. After you submit the updates to your FAFSA/Dream Application our school will receive your financial aid application information within 3-5 business days. An award letter will be emailed to you after we receive your FAFSA/Dream Application within 5-7 business days.

Will I have enough time to submit documents for my admissions process?
We understand that going through another application process may be stressful. To ensure that we allow as much time as possible for you to submit transcripts, we're extending our transcript deadline for redirected applicants from 10/1 to 12/1. To further expedite your admission, we may be able to use self-reported information on your application to conditionally admit you to the university. Review the conditions of admissions for freshmen and transfer students which are evaluated upon receipt of your final transcripts.
