Teaching and Learning Resources

The CSU Chancellor’s Office offers courses and resources about Generative AI on their AI for Faculty page. The Online Campus Faculty Support & Resource page includes multiple opportunities for faculty to get help with online course design, AI, Canvas, accessibility, and external applications/tools. East Bay’s own self-paced Developing Equitable Grading Practices course is available to all faculty and staff through Canvas. Please email Sarah Nielsen (sarah.nielsen@csueastbay.edu) to be added to the course.

Mission: The Office of Faculty Development & Center for Excellence in Teaching supports faculty in their roles as teachers, scholars, and members of the university and community. We provide opportunities and space for faculty to collaborate on projects that improve teaching and student learning. We strive to enhance collegiality among faculty as we all expand our intellectual, pedagogical, and scholarly horizons. Our services are available to full and part-time CSU East Bay faculty at all stages of their academic careers.
