Carmen was born and raised in Rome, Italy by her Peruvian parents, where she completed her education up to high school, then moved to London, England where she lived for five years and studied Communication and Languages at a Community College. In 1996, she moved to California and carried her studies on Continuing Education at Stanford University while working as a Faculty Assistant.
Carmen is fluent trilingual in Italian,Spanish and English. A Cal State East Bay employee since 2005, she strives to help students achieve their goals with a positive and genuine attitude, going the extra mile to ensure they get the best service. She is an avid runner, an Ultra Marathoner and a Spartan Racer, she loves to share the gift of health and fitness with family, friends and coworkers.
Service Area: Contra Costa County (Antioch, Brentwood, Concord, Lamorinda, Martinez, Pittsburg, Pleasant Hill, San Ramon Valley and Walnut Creek); Solano and Sonoma Counties; Los Medanos, Diablo Valley, and Solano community colleges; and inquiries about the Cal State East Bay Concord Campus.
Originally from Antioch, CA, Jamee attended college out of state (Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT), and received her B.S. in Business Management, and is currently working on a M.S. in Business Administration. Jamee believes that college is an important opportunity for students. She enjoys making connections with students and helping them identify their career goals with the many programs at Cal State East Bay. Jamee likes serving as a resource to help students through the application, major selection, and admission journey. She enjoys partnering with high school and college counselors to help make the transition for students as smooth as possible.
Service Area: East Bay Community Colleges and High Schools - College of Alameda, Berkeley City College, Merritt College. All high schools in Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, Albany, El Cerrito, Emeryville, Pinole, Hercules, and the City of Alameda.
Marc studied at San Francisco State University and received his B.A. in international relations. He also has an M.A. in political science from Howard University. Marc enjoys advising students about admission, and helping them identify their career choice by highlighting Cal State East Bay's many major subject offerings. He advises students to find a mentor or internship to build real-world job skills prior to graduation, a job search, or pursuing a graduate education. Marc enjoys Lake Merritt in Oakland, art house movie theaters, and dining out in San Francisco, his college stomping grounds.

Originally from Shafter, CA, Sandra is a first-generation college student that loves working with students and is passionate about helping them pursue higher education. She goes above and beyond for her students in helping them with their admissions, identifying career goals, and major selection, and helping make their transition from high school to college as smooth as possible. Sandra received her Bachelor's degree from Sac State and her master's in Educational Counseling from CSUB. Sandra is student-centered and focused on developing quality student-counselor relationships to best assist student needs. She is bilingual in Spanish & English and is always willing to help. Sandra enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and tennis to name a few. She loves spending time with family and is very adventurous. If you need any assistance she is a call/email away!
