Volunteer Team Leaders

Volunteer Team Leaders (VTL) are trained to respond to emergency situations and are an important aspect of the CSUEB's emergency response capabilities.  Areas of specialized training include: fire extinguisher, building evacuation procedures, radio communications, and evacuation chair training.  VTLs also have the opportunity to be certified in First Aid, CPR and AED. Responsibilites of the VTLS are:

  1. Assist with building evacuations and manage crowd control
  2. Direct evacuees to their Assembly Areas
  3. Assist as directed in other emergency response activities

If you would like additional information or would be interested in becoming a VTL, contact Ayesha Lee at x5-4024.
