University Showcase: Pioneer Festival

10 a.m.–3 p.m. | Cal State East Bay, Hayward Campus | Cal State East Bay alumni and the entire university community is invited to experience first-hand, the inspiring stories, innovative programs and brilliant ideas of our Pioneers. Come celebrate and make connections at recognition ceremonies, department showcases, reunions, mixers and more! Featuring food trucks, beer garden, and family fun.

Music's Spotlight Showcase

3–4 p.m. | University Theatre, Hayward Campus | The full complement of the Cal State East Bay Music Department will join forces for an exciting and varied program featuring performances from students, faculty and staff, and all of the Music Department ensembles, including the East Bay Wind Symphony, Jazz Orchestra, and East Bay Singers. Coinciding with Pioneer Weekend at CSUEB, this is a unique opportunity to see the full scope of talent and collaboration that the Music Department has to offer. All proceeds to benefit the Music Department Scholarship Fund.

Immigration Policy in Uncertain Times

12:15–1:15 p.m. | A&E 239, Hayward Campus | Why are Southeast Asian Americans facing deportation? What is at stake in the November elections for DACA and immigration reform? Join us as we discuss these issues.
