Test takers may request a test day cancellation more than five (5) weeks before the selected test date and receive a refund minus a $50 administrative fee. A test taker who cancels a test within the 5 week period before a test date will receive no refund unless the test taker can prove that they have been affected by serious illness or serious cause (see below). Failure to appear for the test without notification, or arriving too late to be admitted for any portion of the test, are considered cancellations and no refund will be issued.
Test takers may request a test date transfer if the request is made more than 5 weeks before the selected test date. You may not request a test date transfer less than 5 weeks before the selected test date.
Test takers seeking cancellation or transfer within the 5 week period prior to the test date may receive a refund (minus a $50 administrative fee) or request a test day transfer if they can provide evidence that their ability to take the test has been affected by serious illness or cause. A Test Day Refund/Transfer form should be requested from the test center and must be completed and returned not more than five (5) working days after the test date. Requests must include full supporting documentation (medical certificate, death certificate, police report) before refunds or test day transfers can be considered.
