Introducing our news blog
- January 27, 2010 9:00am
Welcome to the Inside CSUEB News Blog. We're delighted to introduce this new Web feature to bring you quick news hits, updates on the day's events, and slices of life at Cal State East Bay.
Those of you following us on Twitter and Facebook have already gotten an idea of how many interesting and exciting things happen here each day — from music on Wednesdays to faculty applying their expertise to important matters of baseball and golf — and you've had the chance to join the conversation by commenting or re-Tweeting. You'll still find us in those places sharing the news, but now you'll be able to click through to read a bit more than we can share in a single tweet or wall post. You'll also see some blog links popping up in some of CSUEB's other Twitter feeds, including Pioneer Athletics, CSUEB arts, and the Alumni Association.
This blog will update several times a day, and links to all the entries will automatically be shared with our social media channels. Some of the stories you see here may grow into longer news articles or even pieces for Cal State East Bay Magazine. Our bloggers come from several different corners of campus, to bring you news from student life, the arts, the news, admissions, and the Concord campus. If you like something and want to know more, let us know with a comment, a re-Tweet or an e-mail. There are tools at the top of these pages to help you share posts with your own social media networks, plus a News Tip button so you can send in your own story ideas.
