Do you want to go into a health services field or apply to medical school but earned a bachelor's degree in a non-science field or if in science, have overall and science GPAs that are not very competitive?

The Pre-Health Sciences ProfessionalCertificate Program offered by Cal State East Bay provides the competitive advantage needed to gain admission into health professional schools and launch a career working in private and public hospitals, physician's offices, and at medical and diagnostic laboratories.

It is goal-oriented, focused and integrated with health professions volunteerships/internships, research experience, community service and pre-health association opportunities. Many health professional schools express the desire to admit students who show promise in scholarship as indicated by their academic performance, have competitive entrance test scores, have acquired quality health setting experience and have excellent personal characteristics including maturity, leadership, self-discipline, compassion and empathy among many others.

Learn more about the Pre-Health Sciences Professional certificate program at an upcoming information meeting on March 4th, April 1st or May 6th.
