William Alnor, assistant professor of communication, former minister and author of four books, including, “UFO Cults and the New Millennium,” “Heaven Can’t Wait,” and "UFOs in the New Age,” is quoted as a media expert in a Columbia University article.
Alnor comments on the proliferation of the UFO phenomena and the popularity of the demonic approach in a story on Alien Resistance Ministry, a Christian group of UFO enthusiasts and researchers who believe aliens are actually Biblical demons.
In the article, Alnor estimates ARM has at least 12,000 followers, many of whom have a strong media presence, such as one man who appears regularly on a nationally syndicated radio program broadcast on 500 affiliates in the US and Canada.
The story by a Columbia Graduate School of Journalism student is on the “Columbia News Service.”
