The California State University, East Bay Personal Fitness Trainer certificate is a Web based program designed to present students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to implement and create a unique, medically balanced fitness model to better serve an increasingly educated and fitness-savvy clientele.
Students will learn how to apply their clients’ health history, goals, and abilities while integrating an exercise science curriculum and practical training techniques. By the end, the students will be able to help their clients to progress through different training levels and phases.
The program is offered in partnership with the American Council on Exercise, IDEA Health and Fitness Association, and Personal Fitness Professional (PFP).
