Sabrina Rodriguez '05 wins two Emmy Awards

The 41st Annual Northern California Area Emmy® Awards were presented Saturday evening, June 9, and Cal State East Bay alumna Sabrina Rodriguez '05 walked away with two of the 92 Emmy® statuettes.

The 41st Annual Northern California Area Emmy® Awards were presented Saturday evening, June 9, and Cal State East Bay alumna Sabrina Rodriguez '05 walked away with two of the 92 Emmy® statuettes.

The Emmy® Award honors excellence in all fields of television and on-line production.  Rodriguez joined Sacramento's KTXL FOX 40 morning news team as a reporter and fill-in anchor in 2011. While a student at CSUEB, she interned at KTVU FOX Channel 2.  She was also recognized as “Young Alum of the Year” by Cal State East Bay in 2012.
