Join the Cal State East Bay Athletics Department staff and coaches for the 16th annual Cal State East Bay Golf Classic & Benefit Dinner, being held at TPC Stonebrae in Hayward on Aug. 20, 2012. All proceeds from the tournament and dinner will benefit the Richard and Susan Sherratt Athletic Scholarship Endowment which provides financial support for student-athletes who otherwise may not have the opportunity to attend Cal State East Bay and participate in intercollegiate athletics. Rich Sherratt '70, a Pioneer baseball alumnus and CEO of Ballena Technologies in Alameda, and his wife Susan created the endowment with a $25,000 gift in 2009.

Included in the entry fee are greens fees, golf cart, polo shirt, team and individual awards, tournament gift bag, lunch and dinner. Non-golfers are also invited to enjoy only the benefit dinner, which will feature both a silent auction and raffle to support the scholarship endowment. Sponsorship opportunities across a wide range of levels are also available for individuals and businesses to show their support for the Pioneers.
