Speakers address scientific topics during the Matthew Spitzer Memorial Lecture Series in Physics

Tune in on physics topics, such as fascinating tests of fundamental physical laws using atoms and the history of electron spin, during the Matthew Spitzer Memorial Lecture Series in Physics.

The Physics Department is holding its first lecture Friday, Oct. 11 in the South Science Building, room 149. All lectures will be held noon to 1 p.m. A generous gift from a donor has made the series possible featuring a variety of speakers. The lecture speakers include:

Dr. Eugene Commins, UC Berkeley professor emeritus (Nov. 15)

Dr. Dmitry Budker, UC Berkeley professor (Nov. 22)
