CSUEB player named first CCAA 'Basketball Player of the Week' for 2013-14 season

Cal State East Bay's Gabe Kindred has been named the Wilson/California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Basketball Player of the Week He's the first honoree of the 2013-14 season for the CCAA.

Kindred was East Bay's leading scorer during the 2012-13 season, topping the 20-point mark three times. He's the first CSUEB men's basketball player to win CCAA Player of the Week since teammate Mark Samuels during the 2011-12 season.
